Serve as a topping on yogurt, ice cream, muesli or as a topping in a spicy salad
Place the almonds and syrup in a medium hot non-stick pan
Stir and turn until the almonds are light brown in color and the syrup is sticky and firm
Transfer to a paper towel
Cool
Tip: layer chopped banana, natural yogurt or vanilla yogurt in a glass with the caramelized almonds. Put almonds on top for crunch.
